      my '05 Corvette went 11.3 @ 129 mph on those tires, with an easy launch (1.81 60'). Excellent tires, they hook better than the non-radial ET Streets.

      I'd like to run that on my car but I'll have a manual trans and I'm worried it won't be enough sidewall. Over at Ls1tech most guys don't suggest them with a stick car.

      I run the P255/50R16 M/T ET Street on my car with a stick (TKO-500) and they work GREAT. Obviously the 16" tire has more sidewall that the 17".

      Pulled a best of 1.78 60' before breaking an axle. I'm very pleased with the tire.

      Dan what size C4 rear brake are you running?

      They're 12" rotors in the rear. I was running a 16" wheel from Wheel Vintiques, but it has a 15" center ring. The caliper has around 1/8" clearance. Pics of the wheels/tires are at the bottom of this thread:
