      You know, the sick thing is we just wanted to build a nice driver that was a step up in performance and quality from the GT55 project. It's amazing how projects take on a life of their own and snowball out of control!

      Well, we are test-firing the engine for the first time today. Mitchell aluminum 427 SBC with FAST fuel injection (total weight 355lbs). We are getting everything ready for this Saturday when we take the engine to the dyno to get the fuel injection mapped out.

      Nothing beats hearing a new engine run for the first time!

      There was a slight delay in the firing of the engine, but we lit it off yesterday. It sounds good. Dyno tomorrow!
