If it helps anyone get a better rate, I need a car shipped from CA to TX in about one week.

Cooter, 28 feet of floor (gooseneck). When do you need it picked up and delivered? My problem would be picking it up in Ca, it's a six hour drive to LA from here and i'm not sure I need to add 12 hours (round trip). I've figured fuel cost for me out and back AZ to GA, GA to AZ will be $900.00 at $3.00 a gal. If I add the time to CA and the fuel cost it'll go up another $400.00 or so. Anyone in CA able to meet me somewhere so i don't have the added 12 hours? Other problem for me is a race we have scheduled on the 29th, we are in a tight points race and can't afford to miss a night. We'll be using the trailer for that and will probably get home late, then need to clean the trailer out and remove bench and tool boxes (bolted in). So I can't leave till late morning early afternoon sunday. Adding the trip to CA to pick up car will put me a day behind at the start. i'll try to work things out and make it happen but if you can figure a way to get car to PHX it would help a great deal. Also would love to have something to bring back this way and have no problem going to CA with it but would probly have to be another few days after I return (have another race scheduled that weekend). I plan on leaving the Atlanta/Chattanooga area onthe 6th of Aug. see what you can do and i'll call tonight. thanks
