      Crisp Pontiac Exhaust video

Well, after hearing Jag's wicked bird, I had to post some video of mine. It's a new combo that has only been running for a couple weeks. I'm still working out the bugs, but it sounds pretty good and man does it pull hard.

Exhaust is Hedman ceramic headers, 3 inch Summit X-pipe and 3 inch Goerlich Xlerator mufflers.

      What do ya think?

      Drew

Sounds good, I'm thinking of getting Summit's 3" header back system without mufflers. Any thoughts?

The summit kit should be a good kit, keep in mind you will probably need to do some cutting, fitting, and welding.

Thanks for all the comments. I am in the process of putting together a car domain page. I'll have lots of pics there.

Funny thing about that 1/2 crank thing. I've owned the car for 5 years with 3 different motors in it and it only started doing that after the fresh heads and cam. The 350 Pontiac was not running when I got it. I installed a 330hp SBC350 for a short time and built up the 455. The old 455 combo never fired on less than a full crank. Maybe something to do with everything still being fresh and clean. The shortblock has about 5000 miles on it, but the top end only has about 150 miles on it plus break-in time.

hey car sounds great. im also switching mine around as well. right now i have headman 1 3/4 long tubes that go to and h pipe and flowmaster 40's all through 2.5 inch tubes. i was looking to go to 3 inch with an x pipe. i was not sure how the summits x pipe was so tell me if you like it and think its well made. as for the exhaust i was looking at the super 40's because they flow better than what i have now. i want somethiung very loud but with tone. the 40's sound to pingy so somethign deeper that flows better is where im going. i just found the goerlich's though and they sound great. what are they compared to the super 40's? any help would be great!

Time to resurrect this thread....had several ask me for drive-by videos before and I finally did one....

video 1 - 3/4 throttle acceleration....I was testing a new MSD ignition and still working on getting the timing jsut right...still has some power to dial in.

Video 2 - slow roll into throttle driveby....man I never knew how it sounded
from outside the car...HORY CLAP, I love the sound!
