I'm running 18x7 fronts and they clear the C5-based Baer GT brakes mounted to my AFX spindles. There's a good bit of clearance too, not bad at all.

Now, on a stock a-body spindle I don't know. But figured I'd chime in case you guys were using the AFX spindle.
