Thanks Andrew,
We talked about that. The guy who welded them builds drag cars for a living and I trust his judgement. These are the bottom bars and are 2" OD x 1/4" wall. What you see is almost a 1/4" of weld that was done down in a chamfered groove. This was actually the second pass. The top bars were bored out and the wall is only 1/8th there. I watched him weld them and he got a really nice root pass on all of the bars. He said my bars are really heavy duty and there is more weld in them then he ever sees in his drag 4 links. I guess more weld would make them look better but I doubt it would add any more strength...
Should I be worried?
