Actually you are the norm.. most guys (including myself) are intimidated by anything the involves welding.. So we either learn to weld or farm out that part..

We happen to have a guy on staff that can answer welding questions. He's kind of an as*hole though... most guys (including myself) are intimidated by anything the involves welding.. So we either learn to weld or farm out that part..

I marvel at people who can put down those "stack of nickles" welds. I would kill to be able to weld like that. Instead all I get is pops and spatters and fireworks.
I don't know if it's possible for an inanimate object to hate a human being...but I get the feeling my Miller 135 wouldn't mind seeing me get pushed in front of a subway train.1968 Pro-Touring Camaro LS1

Hey Matt is it even possible to get a mig weld to look like a "stack of nickels" August 1st is the first available day to sign up for welding classes at the local boces. I will be taking the class and the following class for mig and tig. Congrats on your website and new business. Chris

Classes should help some I could weld before I went to one and after I think I got better if you just pick up one thing its worth it IMO.
It was along time ago but I remember getting something out of it

Well ,I had decided when I was talking with Wayne Due ,that I was going to go with a Quadra-Link,but now look what you have done
.Man just when you think you have everything planned out.Please tell me what advantages the 3-link has over the Quadra-Link?? Any disadvanages? Thanks and love those welds !!!

Every system has advantages and disadvantages. Mark would be the first to tell you that. Read the FAQ's.. they are quite informative.

Hey Steve,
I see the problem with your car. The rearend fell out. You really should get that fixed. You can get it fixed when the guy holding the sparkler is done playing in the shop.

Sunday the front crossmember went in.. it's the most difficult part of the install. Took around 3-4 leisurly hours. All that's left to do is the sheetmetal work and to "pretty it up".
Now I just wait for my narrowed rearend to show up..
