What Speedo gera do i need?
I have a TH400 that i am installing with a 4.10 rear gear. what color/tooth gear will i need for the speedo? thanks

http://www.chevelles.com/shop/speedo.htmlYou need to know the tooth count of the inner gear on the shaft. Some can be ID'ed by color. Also you need to know the tire size. It may be easier to install any gear and find out how bad the speedo is. There is also a thing called a ratio adapter that can speed up or slow down the signal to the cable. Sorry I couldn't give an exact answer. If the link works it is a start. FRANK

If I may I have a similar question. I have the 350 th trans. , running 17 x8 wheels and 255x45 tires on rear. Speedometer runs 15 mph too slow- how do I fix?
