Rear springs for a 80 Fairmont Wagon

Hey guys, new to this site and to pro touring in general, my first non drag racing project really. I was wondering, I know all the suspension under this car is the same or similar to a Mustang, but I was wondering what options I have or how do I determine what springs I can use for the rear. I have been told that because of the extra over hang and additional weight on the rear of a wagon that a Mustang spring will not work, just wondering if you guys could offer any suggestions. Thanks in advance,

      Tim

      Here's the project...

Rear springs from a Fox 83 - 88 T-Bird would go in there. But you may have to do some trimming to get the correct ride height. The T-Bird rears were a few coils longer than Fox Mustang rears. I don't recall the exact difference in inches in the free length, sorry.

      cheers
