cleaning transmission case
CAn anyone recommend a product to clean the case of a t56 transmission that will get off most of the corrosion and brighten it up?

try Simple Green or similar degreaser for the loose stuff
I have had good results with never dull and mothers billet aluminum polish...
It's a lot of surface area to polish tho
