      Restoring

      Hi guys, does anyone have any good methods of removing the original tar paper/ sound deadening products used by the factories. I've got a '70 Nova that I'm replacing the carpet and want to put down Dynamat. Thanks

      tar and crap

      Hey now, I like to use a heat gun and a set of scrapers. then clean up with Acrosol or tar remover.If its cold in your area the heat gun will help. You can soften the tough stuff up with oven cleaner. NO OPEN FLAME PLEASE
