Tips on wiring up the '68 Camaro
So I have a wicked short somewhere in the back half of the car, my tail lights do some truely retarded things and it's sucking my battery dry.
I'm still getting parts together (again) for the build but I feel like driving it around now and then on the current setup.
The question is what advice do you all have on running the wires in a modular way that won't drive me nuts down the road. Perhaps sections with special connectors (make it easier to find problems) or certain types of wires or looms that will be wise for me to do now?

First off your problem could be in your steering column, and not your taillight wiring at all. Second, if it is in your harness, buy a American Autowire factory replacment harness from us and you will be good for another 40 years

05-10-2006 #3I agree with Mr. frank. I was having the same kind of problems with my car. So after messing with wires and splicing here and there I decided to try my hand at rewiring the whole car. I purchased the classic kit from AAW and I am just finishing everything up. By far the best upgade to do. Easy to install and the directions are easy enough that even I could understand them.
So in short do not mess with it and rewire the whole car. You will will be better for it in the long run.
