      2.5 vs. 3" exhaust

      I've got a 69 camaro convertible with a 600 hp 427, stock suspension that has been lowered 2". The headers will have a slip on flange rather than a bolt on piece.

      Any recomendations on x-pipe exhaust systems?

      How many clearance issues do I face with a 3" system?

      How bad will a 2.5" system affect HP?

      If I have to choose one over the other I think I'd rather lose a little HP rather than deal with scaping/clearance issues all the time.
