      Chris:

Also check the Art Morrison catalog. They have universal body mount kits if you don't want to fabricate something. Page 23

I've asked for these pics as well as the body mount pics that Chris has asked about . . . if I can get them from the shop, I'll post them. Thx, J

Hey Bob. You know, I actually thought about that when I was talking with the shop about the color choice! And, it was a pretty close call between black and charcoal. In fact, we decided to go with charcoal but also want to see how it looks once the interior is done -- it will not be a big deal to change it to black at that time if the charcoal doesn't look good. I think (hope) that the charcoal, with the flat black dash and the dark grey parts of the interior, will look pretty nifty. We'll see! Thanks, Josh

There should be a pic in that post (there is on my screen), although I think it helps more with the tranny question than the body mounts -- and it would be a great pic if anyone had a question about the motor mounts, lol. Thx, J

      hmmmm loving it.

Nice to see something different to camaro's, nova's and mustangs (no offence to any of these owners) Ive always been a fan of the mid 60's falcons and comets, infact after we have finished our 69 dart we will build 1 for the wife. Good luck with the black colour though, always looks good but a bitch to keep clean.
Doesnt look to far away from the first drive huh.

      Way to go Bob!
If we crank out some nice one's, like Josh's especially, we're gonna get some recognition! My 'shade tree' project with Miss Daisy, and our kicking some serious Camaro, Chevelle, Nova, GTO, and other a$$es convinces me that we've got something GOOD going on!

      Hey Josh,

      Comet is looking GREAT!

Regarding your dash, is that a Mustang cluster...and did you have to mod the dash to get it to fit? I'm looking at my stock cluster and it's plastic with cracks all over and am thinking about going your route.

      thanks for any feedback

Thanks George! The cluster is a 65 Mustang cluster from JME -- the one with the 6-gauge set-up (they also make one with a 5-gauge set-up). I believe that Woody's told me that the cluster fit in without any modification, because the dash set up of the 65 Comet was the same as the Mustang. The website for the cluster is:

      http://www.jmeenterprises.com/65dash.shtml

Good luck on your build -- I check out your website whenever I get a chance . . . your Comet looks great!

Thanks Bob and Joe!!! Yeah, the last set of pictures are pretty cool to say the least. The shop also emailed them to me and they look even better blown up on the screen! The shop also emailed me a pic of the LED tailights that we had custom made, and the pic is not on Woody's website, so I'll make sure to post it and the other pics here as soon as I get a chance . . . I've been pretty swamped, but looking forward to things slowing down so I can focus on the Comet! Thanks again, Josh
