imca cheap upper control arms for g-body

Does anyone know anything about the imca metric uca's for gm g-bodies ,they are selling some chromemoly tubular ones at www.speedwaymotors.com for around $50 per side. From what I gather the left side is 1/2" longer than the right. The left is 8 1/2" and the right is 8"(stock from what I've read). But they look to be completely flat. Why couldn't you get two 8" rights to make a nice shim adjustable set? The zerk fittings are on the ends of the pivot shaft, so left and right wouldn't really make any difference would it? The benefit being ,More header clearance for big block swaps with large diameter headers or large brake conversions(b-body,98-02 2wd blazer swaps), and $200 to $400 cheaper than hotchkis/globalwest/bmr. I realize your not getting high durometer bushings or powdercoat but still $200 to $4oo!!
