more of a resto-mod because the car is so original. I know it ain't worth much but its #'s matching everything, never been painted before and every sheet metal panel is og to the car. I have protecto plate, build sheets, and the original title from 1968. Perfect floorboards and trunk so i hate to change a lot of it. I also have a 68 camaro that will get prot oured when i get done with this one.

look at the virgin sheet metal. All the filler you see was by me after it was stripped. Car has never had any paint work whatsoever.... Yet!

what type of primer are you uesing check out the feather fill by everlast **** is nice and think but goes on nice and sands nice only thing is you have to let the car sit for a week so it can shrink but fills grnd marks and scraches i recomnned 3 coats let set block another 2 coats let set and final blacking.

I'm using a product from Valspar called DTM which stands for direct to metal. It is a high build primer that etches into the metal. It fills very well and lets you eliminate an etching primer step.
