looking for wire loom
I am looking for a wire loom that I have only seen on high end cars. It is some type of heat shrink, but it is a black cloth material. I have looked every where with no luck. Also, I can not find a black mesh material that I seen on radiator hoses. It looks like something that comes on new cars. Any help would be great. Cory

05-11-2006 #2I think I have seen some of this stuff either in Grainger or McMasterCarr. It is fairly pricey so i stuck with just the bare wire look! If done right, looks great!

www.cableorganizer.com is one of their on-line dealers and will sell most of the product by the foot. I've bought and installed the nylon braid (because of the slightly higher operating temp of 150C) for my ECM harness and really like the look of it. It's not that expensive and looks a whole lot better than that convoluted tubing that is commonly used.
