      Adam,

That is a NICE project you have there and I love the rear suspension set up.

BTW, from the looks of your fab cababilities you should look into producing a lighter/better front sway bar set up. I finished up the coil over conversion on my Sycone this week all but putting the front sway bar back on and Id really like to put something else on there other than the heavy as hell stock piece. I have a hunch that a nice moly, hollow, whatever bar for the front would be a decent selling piece (hint hint).

GMC Syclone (currently wrecked thanks to the typical rubber headed VA driver not paying attention to his red stop light...oh and he didnt have insurance either)

That was next on my list until my tranny imploded again. I was going to build a nascar style bar. I needed one anyway because I couldn't adjust the body roll properly with only an adjustable rear bar. I also found since I've been removing my trans the right tie rod adjuster had been worn by rubbing against the lower coilover spring perch. Not good. Will have to replace and shim to gain clearance and I'm going to find a way to get a steering rack installed. Right now too many things on my plate to deal with.

I was thinking something similar as well but havent had a chance to get back out to the garage to look things over to see if there's room.

A through the frame rails deal might work if it will clear the lower IC mess and it'd prolly require an electric fan as well. Like I said...I havent had a chance to look things over to see where a lighter/nicer piece would actually fit but if one came on the market Id definately be an interested party.

BTW, if youre in no hurry for a trans and still have your heart set on a 700 Im selling my 700 to ERUE on syty.net for his ty so he may end up with a decently built waller trans that needs a good home (he's taking out the waller trans and putting mine in last I heard). Dunno what kind of time frame he has on it or if hes even going to get rid of the trans he's taking out but it may be worth asking him about.

I hate the 700. Don't get me wrong, I love the way it performs under load, but I hate the fact that you never know when it's going to blow up. I have electric fans on my radiator now. I don't see that affecting anything anyway. The lower IC piping, exhaust crossover pipe may be a concern though.

I'm contantly swinging back and forth from the T-56 and the 4L80E.

After i finish ripping out the guts of the bravada I picked up, the 80-e or a new suspension is going to be my next project. haha damn thing is never going to see the road again . I was curious though, not too many people make good suspension parts for these trucks. I know the guys over at syty go for either the PEP or JSM stuff. couldn't you just use circle track or air bag arms and modify them to put the coil over mounts to the outside? sorry for hi-jacking but this has just been on my mind lately. MODs feel free to jump this to the suspension section if it would be better suited there.
      hi-jack done
