How should I sell our 57 chevy?

Here's the dilemma. We've got a 57 chevy 210 post in the shop. it's a former street sleeper drag car, It has ladder bars and has been minitubbed. the front has a vega rack in it. The motor has been out of it for about 10 years now, and it has been sitting in a garage pretty much all of it's life. (the prievious owner gargaed it in the 70s got in a wreck and it sat in a mini storage for 20 years. we drove it for one year in the 80s and it went back in the garage) There's NO RUST on this car anywhere, and the original paint, interior, glass and everything is intact. It's all blown apart for paint work to start.

My dad wants to sell the car. He's running out of money to live off of and sees it just sitting there. So here's the question. Do we sell it like it is? Or slap it back together get it running, slap some cool wheels and tires on it and sell it that way? (we could make a cool "Rat Rod" out of it.)

What would you do? and how much do you think she's worth?

Note: I've got a complete, unassembled 383 and 454 sitting there in the shop. 2 turbo 400s. And all the parts except wheels and tires.

I do have some sweet 14" wheels that look like torque thrusts with the peaks lathed off of the spokes so they are flat though (my dad calls them "indys?".... but they are real narrow.

+1... You will def get some $$ selling the parts. And a rust free car will definately fetch some cash!

I think my dad is thinking 10+ for the car with no motor as is.

But im still on the fence for putting it together and selling it running.

It'd be too much work to part out. and it would kill my father to do it that way.
