AAW HiWay 22 question: fuel pump always hot?

It seems the fuel pump is always hot. ACC/OFF/Run/Start. I can't figure out why that would be the case.

Are they assuming that the EFI will provide a relay? Anybody know?

      thanks!

Answering my own question: yes, the port is intended to be the hot source for the fuel pump relay. I still think it shouldn't be hot in accessory or off position, but since it's rated at 30A, perhaps making it switched would be more expensive. Maybe I'll use it for a starter relay hot source.

I've moved my DC Controller Fuel pump input to IGN-2. Perfect.
