Hey Fellas New guy from Atlanta here..

Ney guy here from good old Hotlanta..

When i was a kid my father had a 68 Rally Sport Camaro.
he worked on the thing all the time and loved that car so much
one day my mothers volkswagon rabbit was messing up and she needed to go to work. she borrowed his Camaro and parked it in a shady spot... and it was stolen.

that was my pops pride and joy.. after that his love of cars diminished.

but hell.. i remember it.. now its my turn.

i just picked up a 67 Camaro with relatively stock body but swapped
a 406 cubic inch SB chevrolet. This engine is 6.6
The engine block was fully reconditioned (bored .030" over in
      the process),
increasing displacement to 406 cubic inches.
Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads (64cc straight plug
      chambers)
Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum intake manifold
Lunati cast crank and pistons assembled for 10:00-1 compression
      Lunati "number 10" 292/
      292, Lift
      .480/ .480
      Holley 750 vacuum advance carburetor
      GM HEI distributor
The transmission is a TH350 3 speed automatic.

the body of the car is in good condition and it being a georgia car has
little to no rust.. im pretty excited to get this rolling.

      heres some photos.

id like to drop the car a little ive searched and i see that hotchkis makes a lowering spring.. but it seemed like the ones who had it didnt think the drop was enough..

      any suggestions? :D

and later id like to upgrade to powersteering.. anyone know of some good shops here in GA?

      thanks yall!

Looks like you have a good platform to work from.
Nail the stance and wheels and you're off...

I asked what part of GA you were in. I meant what part of Atlanta. Call David before you order anything...springs or otherwise. He can must likely suggest an alternative that may be better. We did Landrum springs on my 69 and they work great.
      Oh, yeah...Welcome!

      thanks!!!

yea im in chamblee, but i keep the car in marietta.

my house here doesnt have a garage and i have a forreal phobia about theives and my new baby boy..

i want to get that PERFECT stance.. that first then wheels..

i already have my choice on wheels but i dunno the best sizes..

i was thinking 17X8 in front and 17X9.5/10 in the rear.

i was looking at that killer kustoms site.. i was going to call them.

i actually got started from my VW GTI.. here it is.

it was featured in eurotuner magazine

      and i do airbrushing..

      heres just a little stuff..

so anyone have any suggestions on how to drop my 67 :D

also.. i am in love with the rs hideaway front.. is it hard to convert it?
i did some searching and found this ground up kit for 900..

You could check with www.YearOne.com or Rick's First Generation at www.firstgen.com to see if they have kits. I couldn't recommend one over another. Mine was an RS when I got it!

Welcome to the site! Looks like you've got a good solid car to start with! I hunted around for my chevelle for years until I could find a southern car, mine has hardly any rust at all.

Welcome! I used Detroit Speed springs on my 68 for a 2/3 drop and it hit the stance perfect. I am also running 17x8, 17x9.5 wheels.
