      68 Camaro/Wilwood/Globalwest-Backspacing

      68 Camaro

OK, I did a search and saw a million replys for similar posts. Just curious if anyone has or had the setup I'm going with. I'm putting on a Global West stage 4 kit(new upper/lower fronts, new leafs rear-lowers about 1 inch overall) with Wilwood disc on the corners.

I plan on using 17" rims. Does anyone know what the proper BS would be so no rubbing occurs.

I've read the 8-8.5 up front with 4.5 BS and 9-9.5 rears with 5.5 BS.

      Opinions/Facts?

      Thanks

      go with:
      17x8 w/ 5" b.s. 245/45/17 tire
      17x9.5 w/ 5.5" b.s. 275/40/17 tire

This is the widest combo that works on a stock subframed first gen camaro with discs and stock width rear axle....

Thanks. Pretty much what I've encountered. I was just curious because I was told the wilwoods change the offset.

They do. I was told by Wilwood +3/8" each side.
