G body 4L80-E Swap
I am getting ready to do a big block and 4L-80E swap to my 87 Monte Carlo SS, and need to contact Delta T, Jim. As far as I know, he is the only person who has successfully installed a 4L80-E in a G body. Jim had mentioned that his headers would not clear the column shift linkage in his car. My car has a floor shift, and I am wondering if that would make any difference, or if I would have the same problem that he had. If anyone knows how I can contact him, please let me know, as any help anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Check on www.Montecarloss.com. There is a guy there who has put a 502 in an 87 or 88 Monte SS, he has a 700R4 on it. I thought the 700 was about the same size as the 4L80.
