Tim I'll be needing 3 of those this month. Every car in my shop is getting an LSX based engine. Can you PM a price on 3 of those beauties?

This probably a stupid question. What is that little tank at the top, in the middle for?
Is it for oil or some thing else?

While it is certainly a nice design, if the fin area is covered roughly by 50%, how hard in terms of amperage draw do those fans have to work to remove enough heat to keep a 180 degree temp for example? A large fan is more efficient at removing heat because it does so through a larger area so I am just curious, where does one draw the line between an enclosure acting as a shroud and becoming a restriction at the same time? -Jabin

They stand their fan mounts/ shrouds off of the core by about 1", and in my way of thinking, that would make the area between the fans and the core one big plenum from which both fans pull equally.

Besides, I'm not sure but I bet those fans can flow more air than the core could anyway.

I don't know if I'm allowed to post prices and I don't want to upset other members/vendors by posting that info. I will PM you with pricing.

If you work for RD or are an RD dealer I believe you are. Don't quote me though I'd ask TonyL.

You may PM the info to me though.

      Thanks Steve.
We do install flap doors on some of our shrouds where airflow restriction is a concern but we don't feel we have a problem with this radiator.
