      Need Help mushy pedal w/new Wilwood Disc kit on `70 Camaro

      Hi i`m posting this problem for my buddy,he has a `70 Z28 just did his front and rear disc brake swap,got the Wilwood 4 piston calipers with cross drilled and slotted rotors,new wilwood master,new booster,new rear line kit from Precision brakes,new Wilwood proportioning valve,bled system but brake pedal feels mushy and when the brakes grab they grab real low on the pedal,any help and suggestions appreciated.

      Did you bench bleed the master cylinder? If not you cant get all the air out of it. Did you bleed the brakes thoroughly?

      They are a real pain to bleed, we had to use an air bleeder to get the lines clean

      Vac bleder is your friend

      seeing this post lemme offer this. You should goto Harbor feight and buy a vac bleeder system.
      I am not reffering to the little crappy hand pump job.
      I am however referring to the canister that uses compressed air to creat vacuum. Is about the diamiter of a coffe can made from plastic hooks to an air line and has a hose you would connect to your bleeder screw.

      Arent there two bleeders per caliper on the wilwoods?
      Those are gonna be fun to get the air out of without some bleeder system like a pressure pot or vac bleeder.
