Great job! You saved another one!! Your build reminds me a lot of the Prodigy build.

That car had alot of cancer, congrats on your progress so far, and you documented the build very well with all the photos, those will be fun to look back on one day.

Wow, I have never seen a car rusted to that extent. it looks like you found the best solution for that situation! The only part that doesnt look like it is fitting up is at the firewall, am i missing something?

Good job! I personally like the idea of buying one that would be going to the crusher anyway... if it is in bad enough shape, I don't have to feel bad about doing heavy-duty customizing to it.

well, we do have 10 shells....i feel kind of bad..completely chopping a 68 ss/rs...then repaneling it and still calling it an ss/rs....but thats what it was.....gets kinda tricky..we also have a 67 ss, wich is now a small pile of metal on the floor....when built...will be ss again...its a tuff call

As these cars become more and more valuable, expect to see even cars like this command a decent $. Good job on the restoration. Makes me think twice about the junkyard near my grandparents filled with 1959-60 Impalas.

What great work you are doing. What is the time frame for such a metal restoration? And what kind of money does it take to restore one? Keep up the good work.

      That's awesome.

I have a lot of respect for people who take on projects like this and save these great cars from total ruin. Which is why I always balk when Coddington and his crew dismiss an old car as junk for the crusher because it requires them too much work to make a profit. People like that are nothing but spinless weenies.

Thanks for the updates and keep em coming.
