Car is lookin great man...Did you ever get the front suspension fully sorted out? And did you end up going with the 2" DSE leafs?

Yeah i beefed up the stock control arm. Still not to happy I wanted to go lower in the front but the shocks bottom out if i go lower than it is. The rear is still the stock mono leaf no blocks. I am planning on adding a 9 in in back might quadra link it or do some sort of 4 link.

I haven't posted here in about 4 months, so I thought I would up post a few pics to show my progress. It's actually been a few steps forward and a couple steps back. Here goes:

New 383 goes on dyno (476hp/478lbft (corrected)):

Wife & dog helping to install TKO-600 (cheater bar on clutch fork helping to engage input shaft, convinced wife it would be fun )

      Finally, installation day!

      Up and running...

Finally enjoying the car on a Saturday instead of working on it:

But... then my fat right foot took over and now I'm back to working on it!

Nothing too major, but violent wheel hop caused the rear end to slide forward on the driver's side leaf spring. I was planning to upgrade to better leaf spring eventually, so I ordered a set of Global West L-2's today. I should be back on the road within a week.
