Possibly buying LS1..need advice!
I have an opportunity to buy a 99 LS1 with T56. The k-member was removed with everything kept in-tac with pulleys, manifolds, partial exhaust, wiring harness and computer, rack & pinion etc.. T56 has a B&M shifter on it. Motor and trans is out of a camaro that had less than 60K miles. Im waiting to hear the price.
What price would be a great deal and what price would be a fair deal.

For what it worth the local junkyards ask $4500-$5000 for engine (complete with accesories), trans, harness and computer.

$4k would work, check out eBay and look at the completed items
