      Problems with Frame

Hey, guys, I got the body back from the mediablaster and also the frame, the body needs some obvious patch work but I'm a little worried about the frame. There is no rust, one small crack behind the engine crossmember on the passenger side, it looks like someone picked the car up with a forklift in the middle of the car, and the frame itself doesn't sit flat so I think there is a slight twist in it. Sonds like someone had some fun before me at the dragstip. I think what I'm going to do is cut out the side rails and replace them with some 2x3 square tube steel. Anyone have experience with this. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again, Chris

i follow you.must have had alot of torque.i would use 2x4 tubing,2x3 will require alot of bracing.
