      3rd gen 12 bolt in 67 camaro

Would anyone happen to have a link or info on the process of installing a 86 camaro 12 bolt into a 67 camaro? I read a multi-page thread on here a while back but cant seem to find it. I need to start bookmarking.

The passenger car 12bolt was discontinued around 1971, when the 8.5" 10bolt replaced both the old 8.2" 10bolt and the 12bolt. The 3rd gen F-bodies only got the weak 7.5/7.625" 10bolts (And a rare 9-bolt - I don't remember much about it). The small, newer 10bolts aren't excactly known for their great strength, I'd rather stick to a stock 8.2" 1obolt instead.

yeah - I'm afraid that piece does not exist.
The 82-2004 F-body got the 7.5" 10 bolt which was originally designed for the Vega (weak POS). I wouldn't put one on a lawnmower.

Maybe its an aftermarket 12 bolt made for a 86 and he picked it up cheap so he wants to put it in his car?
