Mounting Coil Inside interior........

I was thinking of mounting my coil inside my interior somewhere in an effort to clean up the engine compartment. I see that MSD makes a bulk head connection that mounts on the fire wall and you run a wire from the coil to it, and then on the other side from the bulk head connector to the distributer.
Is this a good way to do this? Am I loosing any power, or voltage by going this route? The only other way I see to do it is to just fish a wire through a hole, but the hole will have to be pretty big to get a plug through it.
Let me know what you guys think. Has anyone done this already?????
