Looking for knock off wheels because im broke

im wondering if there are any companys that make knock offs or atleast wheels close to Fikse, CCW, and Forgline for much, much cheaper then the real ones. im stuck on what wheel to go with because all the nice ones are way too much for me. pretty much if i can get a set for under $1500 that would be good.

      thanks

Those are nice but the thing is, i need 11 inch wide ones for the back. Do I have any other options or do i have to spend the big bucks?

      thanks

Nope, have them widened by Weldcraft for 125.00 per wheel.

Much, much cheaper than custom 3 piece wheels. Weldcraft has done work for some of our members, they do good work. You wont even be able to tell.

Hey thats my car! [All pics of that car are the sole property of gonein67bird inc. and may not be copied or reproduced without express written consent of The National pro-touring League]ha ha. They make a 10" wide wheel, go to there website. If you are going to be so picky about size you are going to pay for it.

I love the look of those wheels, but I really want them in black with the polished lip for my 72 challenger project. Any suggestions? Thanx

May not be your style but the Z06 replica wheels are cheap (I got my set of 17x9.5/18x10.5 for $415). Just make sure to factor in the price of wheel adapters (I would spring the extra $$ to add a wheelcentric lip) for both the Z06 and BMW wheels to make up for the deep backspacing. YMMV.

Have the centers painted or powdercoated, and have someone with a lathe shave the paint off of the lip, then polish it? Labor intensive? sure. But still way cheaper than the alternative.

Or just scuff up the centers and use dupli color, wet sand the lip . Even cheaper and pretty durable.

Do those BMW wheels bolt up to a 2nd gen? Or do you need to use a spacer? I have a 77 T/A that I going to build up with my boys.

      Thanks, Eric.

Will the BMW wheels work on a G-Body. I know bolt pattern is the same, but how about back spacing?

Bolt pattern is not the same. They are .5mm off I think. It should still work....
