Dodge Viper VS Pro-touring 2nd gen ......choices.....

Hey guys, I'm strongly debating selling my pro-touring late 2nd gen this year.
I've poured a ton of cash into it but for some reason I just had more fun building it then using it.

I've had the car since I was 21 and I'm 37 now and kinda burnt out on it.
I've been debating selling it for a Dodge Viper but I'm not familiar with these cars AT ALL.
All I know is I don't trust Chrysler products ever , ESPECIALLY their transmissions, but
thankfully this is a Tremec trans that's actually pretty stout and highly regarded by many.

So I'm tossing around the idea of selling my car, and getting a Viper instead.
I'm a unique kind of car enthusiast, and while I do like Corvette's , they're as common as belly buttons
around here. So that's most likely not going to be in my top choices. Anyone have any words of wisdom
or warning about these vehicles or have any OTHER sporty choices to consider instead??

      I'm not considering any other classics. I have a pro-touring LS/T-56 1970 442 I'm finishing up this season too.
I'm also looking at late 90's and early 2000's Lotus Espirits. Any input or opinions is appreciated.
I'm just looking for thoughts and experience with the Vipers.

BTW this isn't a for sale ad, i'm just going to list what's done to the car.
It's mostly custom, because I like unique things.
1996 Grand Sport paint colors with a Baldwin Motion theme.
GTO LS1/4L60 drivetrain, all new interior which includes:

Autometer cobalt gauges, Covans bezel, 4th gen SS seats, 4th gen belts,
matching rear seats, new dash, door panels, custom tray, new ABS headliner, new carpet, etc.
Gentex mirror, American Autowire highway 22 harness with Delphi connectors.

Custom LED tail lights, projector H4 headlights, all relayed up.
New door handles, locks, window trim, all black powdercoated.
Half the engine bay is powdercoated including the fenderwells.
Hotchkis TVS, SC&C UCA's, HPS1000's, C5 front brake setup, etc.
