.....I am a huge street rod fan,but a street machine is more of a bad boy thumper ride like a 55 chevywith a bb,or camaro or ??????????,that's not a fuzzy dice and billet wheels deal.imo

I couldn't agree more.

I wouldn't call pigfords car a modern street rod just becuase it had nice paint and body....that car had an AME chassis,lingenfelter(spelling) small block, etc etc

Just because it has nice paint and airbags doesn't make it a modern street rod in my eyes!

I'm not jumping to conclusions just because of airbags and paint. I'm really looking at the car as a whole. Interior design, wheel & tire selection. That car is as good as any hyper-detailed street rod. And it's their show. It so happens that Pigford's car really is that nice. So it deserved to win. I'm more interested in how they will respond to the g-Force 'cuda.



The 'cuda is just as hyperdetailed, if not more. I just hope that Goodguys appreciates and accepts Johnsons' aggressive theme.
