Frame alignment
Received my new frame mounts from pro-touring f-body. They look great. Just wondering if anyone here would have any understandable methods to insuring proper frame alignment to the body on my 73 bird. I know about the locating holes next to the mounts but was wondering if that is enough. Thanks in advance.

you need to find the centre of the body front and back not the subframe or the rear arches use the inner 1s you then need to run a line using a laser or string and use that as a datum, then take measurement out from that centre line pick a measurement so far under the body then at 90 deg run a line out from under to either side, this then is used to make sure the front and back wheels are the same distance apart from each other ,you will need this to also keep a check for when doing caster camber checks . Theres loads more but this should get the car straight and able to put the sub in also check heights as the engine can cause the sub to flex when being fitted put the car on axles stands front of sub rear of sub and rear of car till the engine gearbox and front fenders are fitted and set ,on my camaro the sub flex on ploy mounts about 1" up and down .
