Looks like alot of fun activities planned. If you attend, come up and say hello. My '69 will be in the Year One booth. I'll probably have an LS1TECH hat on.

Sorry guys but I won't be there. I'm really pissed off too becuase I couldn't wait to meet you all. My car fell victim to a practical joke and I'm too pissed to explain it right now. It's been running great for a week and I couldn't wait to hit the long highways with it. Maybe I'll calm down and give you guys details later.

Ouch. That’s no joke if it prevents you from driving the car or damages it in any way. I’d be pissed to. I might be leaving in a few hours or so. If you want a ride give me a call. I’ll PM the phone number.

Thanks for the offer Mike, but I won't be able to make it. Now that I've calmed down I can give some details. I was driving down Sandy Plains to pick up one of my friends and I had to make a pretty sharp blind turn. I made the turn and as soon as I came off it there sat a pile of bricks about 7 inches off the ground. My car sits pretty low and I'm sure you can guess what happened next. I hit it so hard that it actually dented my transmission pan, messed up my pasenger side header, and really scratched up the front lower valance of my car and knocked a small piece out of my grill. After checking out the damage I decided to drive it to his house which was about three miles away. After reaching his house I parked in the driveway thinking everything was okay. He immediately came out and asked what happened to the front of my car. After pulling out there was a small puddle in the driveway, the damn transmission pan had a hole in it. It's about the size of the end of a ballpoint pen. After pulling the pan I discovered that a pan that was full before driving to his house was now almost completely empty. The transmission is fine, I should be able to fix my headers, and my car will be repainted soon so everything should work out okay. Thanks for letting me vent, but it's back to repairs now. Sorry I didn't get to meet you all, but like I told Mike there will be other opportunities. Have fun guys.

$20 per head had me aggravated about the whole time I was there. Damn low turnout too (chance of bad weather). There were a few nice cars there though. If anybody is going today I have 2 tickets ill sell you cheap.
