      1969 Rs/ss

1969 RS/SS numbers matching so i dont want to mini tub this car. i want to lower the car 2 inchs all the way around and run 17s on it. if what ive read is correct 17x8 4.75 bs offset with 245x45x17 and 17x91/2 5.5 bs offset with 275x40x17 will not rub. My question is Is this correct or will they rub or should i go down to a 17x8 in the rear with a 255x45x17. Going to run budniks dished famosaos.

I am running 17" Budniks and here is the BS per DSE

      Front
      17x8 4 7/8" BS (235/45/17, 245s would fit w/ no problem on my car)

      Rear
      17x9.5" 5.5" BS (275/40/17)

I have absolutely no rubbing. One word of advice. The only regret I have is not going with 18s. 18s just fill the wheelwell better IMHO.

Thank you very much for your reply. Just needed a second opinion. $425 a rim isn't a mistake i want to make.
