Temp sending unit for 1970 Camaro

Hello. I just put some AFR 210cc heads on my 408sbc. The hole in the side of the head is 3/8". My old sending unit is 1/2". I don't want to put a big nasty bushing to swadge up. Is there another sending unit for GM cars that is 3/8" and that will work with my stock temp gauge on my 1970 Camaro RS/Z28? Thanks.

I had this same problem on my '73 with GM fast burn heads. Couldn't find a sender with appropriate ohm ratings in 3/8 for factory gauge. I wound up using the 1/2 inch sender mounted in the intake next to the water neck.

Hey Tommy. I think that might be my only option. Thanks.
