      335 rear tires - understeer?

Mini tubbing and stuffing 335's in the back is popular with PT cars, but the cars I see are running 245's up front. Is there a lot of understeer with this setup? I would imagine that it would be even worse with a lighter LS1 up front.

My car has 345's on the rear, 255's up front. The answer is Yes.
I am not sure how many will own up to it, but even as heavy as my car is, it will let you know you got too much rubber on back if you push it too hard into a corner. I have learned to drift into a corner, then push hard coming out. Works everytime. I could fix it with a smaller rear, but being the Poser I am, I like the looks of the fat rear tires, and heck, I don't push it that hard, that much anyway.

It can be tuned out with by a variety of means: springs, shocks or anti-roll bar. It's not something that is absolutly going to happen on every chassis. But it is likely, but not incurable.
