      Thanks guys!

I've been a lurker for a while, but thought I oughta' introduce myself....well, the car anyway.

Forgot to add, I just drove to Bowling Green, KY and back.....a 600 mile round trip and averaged 25 mpg....running around 70 - 80 mph!!! Not too shabby for 400Rwhp.... :3gears:

How are those BMR control arms that price seems worthy!

I really like them....for the $$ you can't beat them. They're well made, but I don't know if they correct any geometry, but they do fit w/o modification doing the Gulstrand mod.

They come with urethane bushings, (but it's cheaper to buy your own upper ball joints).

The only thing I don't like, from a daily driver (as mine is) standpoint is the cup the upper ball joints sit in....dirt and water collect and you'll need to keep this area cleaned out.

Very Nice. Power w/ Milage. Good combination. Could you tell me a little bit more about the 10 bolt rearend. What parts and how is it performaning? I've been considering using mine with a 350 Ram jet.

I ordered a Auburn Pro posi unit for...I believe it was DTS, Drive Train Specialists....along with 3.73 Motive Gears and so far it's been perfect.

I don't drag race, so I don't abuse it either.

Thats a nice setup you have, as well as an impressive parts list. The only thing I really would change is the old school Fiti wheels. They don't match the lines of the car very well in my opinion. I've seen mostly Audi's with those on them.

Yeah, I know, but I already owned them from another car....the backset is the same as 4th gen's, so when $$ allows I'll be looking for some shinier wheels.

Thanks for the comments.....and BTW some impressive #'s I saw posted elsewhere on your engine combo!

Nice ride Doug, very nice list of goodies too. Does that 89' IROC steering a direct bolt on? I'm wanting a faster steer and it sounds like this is the way to go. Looks like it handles nice too! Thanks

Yes it is a direct bolt in...need to change the pittman arm from your old one and the hose connections are late model o-ring style. And the rag joint is different, but I found a company in California that made all the right adapters in kit form....if you run late model engine combo you could just have the right hoses made.

It made a WORLD of difference!!

Hey Doug, got your e-mail, thanks! I tried e-mailing you again but the spam blocker from your e-mail blocked my response. So, I was just checking, if you still use the existing pump with the newer steering box? Again, thanks for the great info. Trond

Yeah, I gotta' fix that.....but I did get it...just been swamped.

I use the PS pump off the 96 LT4 engine.......but to answer your question, yes it'll work. :D
