I have to say me and my 8 year old daughter are hooked on the show. I am really not a big SciFi fan but I started to be since I caught some of the 2nd show and started watching from the 3rd show on and saw every episode there after. Comercial TV is so bad lately that this was a breath of fresh air. Hope it comes back.

I watch it , it has its ups and downs for me. I like the scarier parts of the show but the pet sea monster annoys me.

Not to thread jack but the movie "serenity" was really good, it surprised me.

Did anyone notice they called it the season finale tonight, instead of the last episode?

I don't think Surface is going away - they're running episodes on SciFi as well as on CBS.

Then again, I thought Threshold was a stronger show than Surface, and it's gone.

I am recording Surface as I type.. good show..

Bummed about Threshold.. had lots of promise. There should be a rule that when they end a series that they should have a "final episode".. sorta screws the fans..

Anyone remember "Space: Above and beyond"??? loved that show and the "realness" of it..

Serenity (Fire Fly) was screwed over by Fox.. when Wheadon (sp?) moved Buffy the VP slayer the network screwed him over on that show.. A real shame since it's a great show.

And it was a GREAT movie.. gotta love the reavers.. and they had some very whitty humor on the show.

Dave's watching it as I'm typing this. He's hooked!! I know he's got it bad if the TV wins out over the computer and you guys. You're safe for about an hour . . .

I was under the impression that part of the Serenity movie's purpose was to show the OTHER networks that there was indeed a demand for more episodes of Firefly, in hopes of getting the series restarted on another network.

Not sure how many more Firefly movies I can take if they're killing off several main characters each time - we'll run out of characters pretty soon that way.
