Cut springs vs. Lowering springs

I have a cut set of springs on my 67 camaro now. They are cut 2 inches. However, I have a brand new set of 2 inch drop springs in the box. Should I keep the springs that I have on the car since I know that it really is a true 2 inch drop, or try the lowering springs? I do believe they are the original springs that ore cut and on there now. I am also going to mount Edelbrock IAS shocks up to these.

Second question. I have a mono-leaf rear, should I upgrade to the 3 leaf multi rear or dearch my monoleaf. I want about 1.5 to 2 inch drop in the back as well. If I dearch, should I upgrade to a multileaf rear and then dearch or stay with my monoleaf rear and dearch. Or will dearching multileafs be a waste of time and defeating the whole purpose of multileafs. Will the 3 leaf rear give a lowering stance by itself without dearching?

I am running 17 inch rims all around with a 350 in it.
