Firehawk Transmission Issues! Any ideas!??!
Hey Gang,
My girlfriend's 1995 Firehawk transmission is hurtin'. This morning when she left to go to work the car would not shift into any forward gears!!!! No problem shifting out of PARK into REVERSE. The reverse lock-out seems to be functioning normally. As you pull back out of reverse nothing happens. The car STAYS in reverse. Shift to drive, same thing, still in reverse. All the way through D2. When we shift down from reverse everything feels kind of mushy, like the shifter is floating in air, no action at all. Before we go spending crazy money on it, was hoping someone knew of what might be wrong. Can't go to the dealership, way too pricey. Might need to TOW it to Aamco. Help!!!! Thanks!!!!!!
