      Problems on the site...

To start, I really do like the new site. It looks great. The bad part is I'm having problems with posting and I can't stay logged in. I have to log in like 4-5 times sometimes. I don't know if having to re-register with a new name will work better or what but is there anybody else with similar issues?
      Please help. Thanks

      John

Additionally, you may want to change the shortcut you use to get to the forum so it points at http://66.70.234.198/forum/index.php? as the URL to the forum.

Bringing this up as I just did the XP service pak update and now I'm having the same problem. It only affects this site, not any of the other VB forums I post on or any other site for that matter. Cookies are on, security set to low, this site added to trusted sites, still prompts for log in every time I open this site. Have we determined how to fix it yet?

I haven't had a problem at all since the new board came on.

It's by far the best forum I visit.

If what larry posted doesn't help then try this:
      1. Tools
      2. Internet options
      3. Privacy
      4. Then set it to "low"
This has worked for several other members. Good luck.

I'm already set at the low setting and added this site to the trusted site list. I'll reiterate that this problem doesn't exist on LS1 TECH, CC.com, or corvette forum which are all using VBB. Could this be something of an administrator setting correction?

Did you try "delete cookies" "clear history" and "delete files"?

The reason that you're having problems staying logged on is because the forum is located at this IP address currently: http://66.70.234.198/forum/index.php?

If you use that address, you should have no problems staying logged in. Larry is preparing to switch the forum over to the "correct" URL

Use this when you want to access the forum for now: http://66.70.234.198/forum/index.php?
