      Anyone tried/support Hotchkis kits?

I was looking at this kit from Hotchkis.net. Has anyone ever tried it? It costs $1100, is it worth it? Right now I'm not buying anything, but sometime in 2006 I want to start re-doing the underneath.

      Thanks!

Yes, many people here have Hotchkis components on their cars. Well known product, and good for a street car. For an easy, basic upgrade, it's money well spent.

nice...that is what I wanted to hear. Basically you're telling me it's worth the money. (cause its a lot when you've already invested so much)

I've been running a modified hotchkis TVS kit on my truck for the better part of 6 years and 150k miles (2 trucks actually, same kit) has worked flawlessly. For an out of the box upgrade it's hard to ask for much more.

By modified, I cut 1/2 coil in the front and run a 1" block in the rear to further lower it.

Oh and if you look around you can find it MUCH cheaper than what they sell directly for. But shipping is going to suck unless you can get multiple orders going to one addy.

Dave and Mary Pozzi have a TVS on Mary's '73 Camaro. Seems to work very well. She was fastest in her group at Buttonwillow a few months ago. Rides pretty well too.

Its a really good solid kit for a street car... for an all out race car it's a little lacking.

What he said. I have been running mine for a while now and love it.

We like it on our second gen. The car corners extremely flat. I don't think I'd want it any stiffer, we have slight oversteer right now, and I'm looking into ways to soften the rear bar a little bit.

I say do it. It works well. The ride is not too harsh.
