Credit card in hand as I dial the phone..

I have never liked the stock hinges.. these will right be at home in the engine bay of my '68, so long as then don't come polished. I will just brown bag it to work for two months rather than dine out to cover the extra expense..

nice items.. the design looks a bit different from the ones by Ring..

I never did understand this view.. if someone doesn't like them then don't buy them. These are really no different than expensive milled valve covers or high priced wheels.

Steve, I completely agree! I think they are pretty sharp. If they do it for ya', then do it. You were the first person I thought of when I saw them knowing your current position in your car. I think they will look good. Pop us a pic once you get them on there.

People that don't have the money to spend on trick stuff like this are the haters. They see as I rather use that money for something to make it go fast. Which is not bad, but they don't need to knock the people that have the extra funds.

I was a poor college kid once.. and I drooled over all the "big ticket" car parts, but that just served to make me more creative with a thin wallet.

I can afford better stuff now, but what I learned still helps me churn out a better end result.

Can't wait to get mine! Just need to decide if I will leave them the natural finish or have them polished?
