1969 Camaro for CAM T and USCA

Here are a few pictures of my build. This will be a CAM T and USCA car. The engine is a 434 CID LS which makes 975 bhp on race gas. The engine was built by Kenny Duttweiler. Details of the engine can be seen in this month's Race Engine Technology Magazine. The car has a 6-speed sequential transmission. The engine and trans are set back to make it front mid engine.

Nice. I am not sure which is more impressive. The car or those stands holding up the front valance… I see a whole bunch of them by the window.

Super rad build. Keep the pics coming if possible.

Custom built headers or something off the shelf?

The headers were custom built for dyno testing. Some changes were made to the header for final power tuning including a much larger collector. The headers for the car will be custom fabricated out of 321 stainless and will be 1 7/8 to 2 to 2 1/8 steps with a 24" primary. This produced the best power curve. Kenny Duttweiler had maxwellindustries.com build the Dyno headers. https://www.babyfacefabrication.com/ will build the car headers and is building the car.

Killer build. Love seeing a purpose-built first-gen prepped for real CAM-T/USCA track work and that engine setup... is pure art. You just can’t beat the throttle response and soundtrack of an 8-stack ITB setup
