Introduction

Hello everyone. New to this forum.
A little about me. I’m from the bluegrass state of Ky. I have a 66 Chevy 2 SS that I’ve had for 35 years. It was my first car and I built it with my dad to drive to high school. It had a 283 with a powerglide. I have done many modificatons over the years. I drag raced the car every weekend when I was in high school and on and off later. It ended up with a 355 we built, a powerglide that I built, 9” ford with 4.11 gears. I have the Detroit Speed front clip. The car ran 7.60’s in the 1/8 mile at 92 mph on pump gas and street tires. I drove it to the track 60 miles each way. Which wasn’t bad 20 years ago. Lol.

My current project is a 50 Chevy truck that is for my daughter. I’m building it with my daughter and my dad. It’s on a s10 chassis but the frame rails are basically all that is s10. I’m building the front suspension with AFCO coil overs and c6 spindles. Should be a nice handling truck with a 5.3 and a 4l80e.
