Manifold pressure referenced fuel pressure for NA

Apparently Aeromotive tech support is recommending manifold referenced fuel pressure for NA because manifold vacuum will suck fuel out of the injectors. Is this really the case? I’ve never done this and I am guessing GMPP and stock tunes are not set up for this. I would think this would cause them to run lean and adjust fuel trims accordingly.

      Carl? Donny? Any thoughts?

Got this reply from Carl if anyone else is curious:

The choice between static and manifold referenced fuel pressure is completely dependent on how the fueling tables are set up in the ECM. For example, when using the Edelbrock systems many require MR, while GM NA crate engines are static. Holley can work with either but the ECM must be calibrated to match.

However, nearly all NA applications use static fuel pressure. It's easier for the installer but takes just a few minutes to tweak the fuel injector flowrate tables accordingly.

If it were me, static fuel pressure and tweak the injector flowrates to match.

Yeah, I've never referenced MAP for fuel pressure on a NA motor.
