      Fuel Cell Size Concerns

What are most of you running for a fuel cell size in your cars?

      - - - Updated - - -

I am looking to implement it into my CAD model, so the frame accounts for the cell and mounting needed.

That's a tough question to answer in a meaningful way without knowing anything about your car or how you plan to use it.

Personally I wouldn't go any smaller than whatever the vehicle came with on a street driven car.

Yup, need the make/model/intended use. A towed drag racer would use a 3 gallon tank since he's a quarter mile at a time, but a Cannonballer might want a 40 gallon tank. You can figure out dimensions at https://www.calculatorsoup.com/calcu...ction/tank.php .

I started with what I have for space, then parsed it down to shape. It ended up being right about 22 gal for what I could fit into the hole I have to work with.
